8th Weekend - Washington-Bred Winners

Cobweb has decided to become an expert on pedigree. This is actually a picture of Cobweb reading the Thoroughbred Daily News on my iPad with me at 5:15 this morning (the pets insist on bothering me for food and attention immediately when it is light out). He climbed on me and blocked my view. He fails to understand why Tonalist has no Storm Cat or Tale of the Cat in his pedigree.

Look, Tail of the Cat!

Boom! I will be here all week.

Before we get to the Washington-Bred winners, let’s give a shout out to the amazing Stopshoppingdebbie. Undefeated with 7 wins in a row and 6 of them stakes races. This horse is amazing. Goin to the Window gave her a good run but there was plenty left in Debbie's tank. Here is a photo I took of her in the winner's circle on Sunday:

It's called great photography. Look it up.
